This unit provides a recovery range exceeding 180 degrees, ensuring even spooling of the winch cable, regardless of the pull direction. The patented trunnion sheave head & front winch release enable fast and
efficient operation.
Tow professionals can recover vehicles the same way they entered, eliminating the need to
create a new path out. This unit enhances operator safety, by eliminating the need to work behind or alongside the recovery vehicle. Recovery operations can be
performed remotely, from inside the cab of the recovery vehicle, or even from within the disabled vehicle itself. This allows the operator to bring the recovered vehicle fully onto
the roadway, not just to the shoulder of the road.
Having the front recovery unit allows the operator to approach the recovery point head-on,
rather than at a side angle. This reduces amount of time operators need to spend in active traffic lanes, and allows for recovery, without turning recovery vehicle around. Minimizing the necessity of calling a wrecker for the first stage of recovery, freeing other trucks up in your fleet.
- The front recovery unit is compatible with any vehicle, regardless of cab-to-bed clearance. Chassis recommendation is a Class 5-6 truck from 19,501-26,000 lbs.
